Turkey’s exports of goods and products increased during the first nine months of this year by 2.3 percent compared with the same period last year.
This came according to joint data issued by the Statistics Authority and the Turkish Ministry of Commerce.
According to the data, the value of Turkish exports during the period, 125 billion and 765 million dollars.
Imports fell 14.8 percent in the first nine months of this year to 148.442 billion dollars.
The foreign trade deficit declined by 55.7 percent between January and September 2019 to $ 22.666 billion.
The report showed that the value of Turkish exports increased by 0.3 percent during last September to reach 14 billion and 436 million dollars.
Imports, according to the report, increased by 1 percent last month to $ 16.449 billion.
The foreign trade deficit widened 6.6 percent during the period, to $ 2.55 billion.
