Turkey’s revenues from the tourism sector during the first quarter of this year rose by 4.6 percent compared with the same period last year, according to data from the Turkish Statistics Agency.
According to the data, 80.3 percent of tourism revenue came from foreign tourists and the rest were Turks living abroad.

The number of Turkish citizens who visited other countries during the first quarter of this year amounted to 2 million, 17 thousand and 916, a decline of 2.5 percent compared to the first quarter of 2018.
